Getting thottle body to run the car idle
Hi all,
we're installing this new throttle body and can not believe it will idle ok.
It's sucking through a straw.
Any of you guys have experience and or tips?
Thanks

I am not sure about the TB, but I am wondering why you are running that thick line straight from the MAP sensor port to the PCV outlet on the valve cover? When that valve sees boost (assuming its the stock PCV), it will leak like hell into the crank case... crankcase pressure = BOOM!
As little as I know about throttle bodies, I think I read something about having to scale the TPS voltage within the EMS. Not sure if there are any preset values for the 70mm TB or not (everyone may have to pay their tuner independently to set it up).

the IAC valve will control your idle if you're still using it, otherwise you could adjust the stop screw on the throttle body valve until it keeps the throttle body open a little to help it at idle.
