Default GM boost control solenoid

Just wondering if any one is good with setting up the gm boost control solenoid. I have it set up already and it works with controling the boost except if I am at say 6500 rpm on up and mash the throttle I get a nasty boost spike and hit fuel cut instantly. My target boost is at 7.54 and boost cut is at 9.48psi with 1052u v.1.19. Thanks in advance.

You need to adjust the boost error correct table. And turn on WG feedback.

This is why I still have my GM boost control sitting off on the shelf because everything with the EMS is too damn complicated. I think i'm going to go with a regular electronic boost controller where you can just set what psi you want and call it a day. Let me know how you make out with the GM setup Kristian.

If either of you want send me your map and I'll set up the boost control. I can't get it perfect without the car, but I can get it to where you'll only see 1-2psi of spike. You'll be able to see where I made the changes and can adjust it from there. PM me if interested.

Hey Mike, install is very easy. One wire goes to (+) with ign., the other goes to pin D16 on the spare plug provided with the ems (looking at the plug when inserted in the ems it is the bottom row furthest to the right all by itself). Not sure which wire goes where I just looked at mine and it is only labeled A and B. One vacuum hose goes from the sponge side of the solenoid to the top of the waste gate. The other vacuum hose goes from the other end of solenoid and gets "T'ed" between the compressor housing nipple and the barb on the side of the waste gate.

It has no polarity, as long as one wire goes to 12v and one wire goes to the EMS you are good...almost fool proof
