I just installed it and love the way it sounds when I shift but, if I let it in gear and let the rpms drop it whistles the whole way down to like 3000 then you can't hear it anymore? Is this normal?

 

Yep, I love it.... it's awesome when you roll into parking lots and such...

Mine is mounted to point down, where yours is pointing up... Might make a slight difference?

 

Yeah i just pointed it down too cause I noticed a little oil coming out, like a drop but i'd rather that not build up inside but its just as loud.

Yeah, at first it sounded like a train coming to a stop on the rails...

Now, I've gotten used to it and it sounds awesome .

 

Mines leaking boost so at partial throttle and at full boost it sounds like a high pitched dog whistle. I might try to smooth the valave out, but if not where can I find one for under 300?

 

I dont have a the godzilla bov, but i experience something similar w/ the vortech... I also get that whistling sound when i let off the gas and let the car slow down while in gear, like the air is slowly rushing out.. This is just a guess, but i'm assuming when the throttle plate is closed, or not fully open, there is partial vacuum on the engine, causing the bov to b party opened? The moment i step on the gas a lil more,the sound completely goes away.. just a guess though, so dont quote me on that. ha

Mine was leaking to but it was around the clamps did you check that?
