Default Going with 20w50 oil any comments?

I live in Georgia. the weather here lately has been in the high 80's low 90's for the last month or so and we are coming into the hot season. I just went turbo on the car and from all of the research I have been doing and my recent vtec issues I am going with royal purple 20w50 motor oil. Any comments on this product?? I just feel that in my situation that during the summer it is a good idea to go with a thicker oil.

FWIW, I ran 15W50 for awhile, and car felt way too sluggish down low...

Yea I think you guys are right. I put it in yesterday and even though I am only at 6psi it feels a little more sluggish then it did on the w30 I had in it before. I just wanted to bring the pressure up some for vtec engagement. I will go with a w40 next time.

I've always heard that 10w40 is the best for forced induction.

You should not run that thick of oil on a Stock Motor.

The Clearances in your bottomend will not like that.
