Default Going with ACT HD pressure plate W/OEM disc..

Like the title sais.
After some research it looks like im going to go with a ACT HD PP and buy a new oem clutch disc for 100 bucks to go with it.
I just want to makesure this setup is going to meet what im looking for before i pull the trigger.

-stock like clutch feel
-Little to no clutch chatter
-will handle 400WHP on a vt sc
-will work with the stock flywheel? is it really necessary to get a new one?

thanks guys

-stock like clutch feel YES
-Little to no clutch chatter None
-will handle 400WHP on a vt sc Good for more than 500 rwhp.
-will work with the stock flywheel? is it really necessary to get a new one?A new flywheel is not requires usually but the lighter ones are more fun and allow you wind up quicker.

I use this setup and I make 310ft/lb maximum torque and its seen 19-20psi from my 3076R which is likely around 490-520whp so it will hold no problem and the pedal is VERY easy to modulate. I love the ACT.

Well, Act redesigned the clutch for the s2k ... Though they won't admit to causing crank walk. So the new design should be better. The old one was harder to push in.

I'm more interested in going with the Clutchmaster fx300 myself. Nice light pedal, lots of grip.

From What I understand I think you either need to change the flywheel or have it resurfaced, but changing it is a safer bet.
