Default going to be installing vortech tuner kit w/ AEM ems - What else do I need?

i am just trying to make sure I have all my bases covered before I do this install... I have been reading that a map sensor may been necessary, but can't get a definitive answer. Here is what I will be doing to my 2005:

Already purchased:
Vortech tuner kit
AEM ems series 2
AEM wideband
AEM boost gauge
Walbro fuel pump
Crank pulley removal tool
Updated- SOS 3bar map sensor
Updated- NGK 2668 plugs
Updated- ID 1000's

Have not purchased yet:
HFC or test pipe (haven't decided on which one yet, I do know I hate that test pipe smell though)

Do I need a 3.5 bar map sensor or something similar? Also, if you see something else I might be missing, please speak up. Thanks!

I believe the stock MAP sensor reads around 10-11 psi, if you're planning on running less boost than that then a MAP sensor is not required. If you are, then it is required. Although not required, most people still "recommend" having one, even if you are running less boost than that.

You might need a Fuel Pressure Regulator (FPR) too if you're planning to run the injectors at a higher duty cycle. I can't think of anything else off the top of my head though.

You don't NEED either with the stock pulley. Even 1000cc injectors are overkill.

Agreed.

You can get a good idea by looking up other builds and studying what parts they used and why. Then you'll know what you need now and in the future as you progress.

Thank you for the replys.

My plan with the kit is to run stock boost for a while until I can get around to replacing the clutch, and then up the boost. So everything i buy now, i don't want to have to swap out for something different later (such as the injectors). But if the injectors are just too big for the stock pulley, let me know please and i will consider different options (someone told me 550's would be good?).

FPR? Will that be necessary??? Thx again.

stock MAP sensor is good to ~10.5 psi and is easy to switch in the future so you don't need that now. No FPR is needed since you are going to run AEM. If you plan on getting a smaller pulley, I'd go with ID 750cc injectors or bigger. While they are overkill for stock boost, they will still work and you won't need to upgrade when you do up the boost.

To give you some idea, I am running 750s and boosting 22psi with turbo.

^ pretty much sums it up. ID has some nice 725cc injectors that I would recommend you getting (you really can't go wrong with Injector Dynamics)

ID 1000's cost the same as the 750's, no brainer.

Parts are starting to arrive. I just ordered my ID 1000's from evans.

What do you guys think about their eTuning service for AEM vs having my local tuner do it on a dyno??? At over half the price it has me curious, but i'm sure it is one of those you get what you pay for things right?

Also, does anyone know what pins to wire in my 0-5v signal wires from my boost gauge & AFR gauge into my AEM series 2?
