Default going in for a retune

I am just curious as to if I should change the vtec crossover point from the factory setting to a higher or lower number?? I am running the inlinepro log manifold and sc61turbo .63ar. I am not looking for anything huge just a nice looking curve. Any experiences moving that cams set points??

They'll be able to figure out where the car likes it on the dyno, but the log manifolds usually like it up higher near stock I believe. Where are you tuning at?

My new turbo should be here by Friday and I'll be retuning soon as well. Are you upping the boost? because I sure am

I may go up to 14 psi but I am still on the stock clutch, which is holding up very well at 330whp and 220lb/ft. I have an appt at 10am with balanced performance.

I have seen vtec settings as high as 6500 for some log mani's. I just don't know if I should change it at all or just leave it alone.

The operator should be able to tell whether it needs to be changed or not, thats what your paying him for afterall

My VTEC crossover is set at 3500 rpm to achieve a smooth transition.

Hmmmmm.........Someone doesn't know how to drive a clutch and is very hard on it maybe? My stock clutch made it up to about 335 whp before it started slipping.
