Default going turbo!

ok sooo i am going turbo my question is im going to be using a aem ems 1052 and i want to have two boost settings. i want to have high boost probably 16-18 psi and low boost 7 psi for just driving around. . i want to set my cruise control button as my boost controller to toggle from low boost to high boost, with the cruise control button off as low boost and high boost when the button is on and the little green light on the dash.

what will i need a gm boost solenoid? do i need this or no if so what else?

also im looking for a good tuner for the aem ems 1052 for my S in the mass, ri area?

also do i need a aem 3.5 bar map sensor?

You will need some kind of boost solenoid so the EMS can control boost pressure. How to make it work with the cruise control switch, I have no idea

You will need the upgraded map sensor if you plan on running more then 10psi.

Wish I could help. That's a really cool idea, and hopefully it can be done. I'd love to see it.

I wouldn't use a missing link with a turbo setup, especially with one that is 16-18 psi. I've seen nothing but horror stories on some of my friends older civics and integras running 10+ psi and a ML.

I use one with my CTSC setup but that's only temporary until I get a standalone and up the boost.

I've planned to do this also and even got a Cruise button from the US to do it (we don't get cruise here).

Will be interested in the answers you get.

You could probably wire up the cruise control to act as the nitrous button in the AEM EMS (assuming the nitrous map has a separate boost map).
