Hi guys,

Some of you have read that my tuner unexpectantly passed away recently and, although I feel guilty about it, I need to look for a new tuner to fill his shoes.

I am in the Winston Salem, Greensboro NC area and would like to keep the drive around 3 hours or less from here.

I just have a Greddy turbo which was originally tuned with stock exhaust at 275 whp, and 207 torque. I now have a 70mm dual Invidia V4 and HFC and would like to shoot for that 300 whp and 220 torque number.

I will be using the emanage ultimate and don't plan on changing any time soon, as I have had nothing but good experiences with how my car has ran so far.

Here is who I have contacted so far, but would love more options.

1. Phantasm Motorsports in Raleigh - Have heard BAD things about them
2. Top Speed Performance in Greenville NC - Any Comments??

i have heard good things from TSP. went up there for a day and check it out and they are some pretty good guys. Plus im only 30mins away from greenville. Maybe we can meetup or we can both get our car done and get a deal lol.

or we can find a dyno place and fly mase out to the carolinas

 

We should get together and give them a shot. I am also looking at National Speed (nationalspeedinc.com) in Wilmington for a tune. They PM'd me and have done a lot of S2000s and they tune using the emanage ultimate a lot. TSP said that the emanage wasn't my best tuning solution, but they said they could give me a good safe tune with it. I'd love to have Mase tune it, but I am not spending a grand to bring him down here!!

I'll keep looking and PM you on what I find if you really are interested in getting a tune.

Any other options out there??

 

I'll second that emanage is not the best tuning solution... That doesn't mean it's not going to work.

^You're killing me! I'm thinking of trying National Speed in Wilmington. Anybody used them?

 

yeah i hear good things too about National speed, im only 1:30 mins aways. I havent been there but some of my friends did. On there site, they seen to have a nice facility. Im down for getting a retuned. Just let me know something.

 

^I've talked to Scott at National Speed (super nice guy and has answered every question I had), and got tuning prices. I am looking to head that direction the second or third weekend of January. I should have my fuel rail with pressure gauge on by then so they can check my fuel pressure while tuning. I will send you a PM this week and mayby call them to see if we can get a discount.

Anyone else want to roll to Wilmington in mid January for a tune or just to hang out. Scott says they actually cook out for their customers every weekend. Could make it a little S2000 meet!

I have a list here Mase gave me for future tuning trips. NC was on that list as shown interest from various people.

If you gather up a few people, it will cut back on traveling expenses, and will not cost so much to fly Mase up. Often times it can be cheaper than going to see him in Florida.

We're working on getting the website up to date on all the travel Mase will be doing in the upcoming months.
