Default Greddy Bolt On Kit

I can finally go FI'd so I'm considering the new GReddy bolt on kit (with tuning since it comes ready for AP1)

I am concerned that being a new system I will be the guinea pig for it. Is this a valid concern? or is getting any turbo kit becoming a guinea pig?

Thanks

p.s. is this a bad idea at all

You have an ap2 so you have to get it tuned.

actually the dude at GReddy with an 06 has it installed.

SO - 270-300HP for roughly $4,300 with an untested kit, sound like a bad idea? Is an SC a better idea?

I am sure they have had it on a few cars already. A doctor doesn't try out a new surgery on the general public, they have tests done long before we even hear about it. Its the same with this. There was already a guy with an AP1 that had it on for over a month before we knew about it. Probably the same with someone having it on an AP2.

At least a base SC passes smog. I would much rather go with a SC modded or un-modded.

Then look into the BRP blower if its for the track. Much more usable torque.

I'd say either a BRP SC kit or stick with the turbo idea. Both ways will give you great torque and response.
