sounds like a good idea, i only bought the copper plugs at the time bacause i couldnt find the iridiums anywhere in cali. i did get the Greddy ISO plugs that Greddy reccomends so i wonder if this will fix my problem? the coppers were only ment to get me buy until the Gredy plugs came in but i ended up leaving them in because i thought they were fine.

i still dont get why this problen isnt persistant? like it comes in randomly then goes away, how is this dure to plug type? is it the ECU coping or adapting? so much to learn

Normal gap for FI plus is in the 0.030” to 0.032" range.

The Iridium ( NGK 2668) are already pre gaped but I still check them with a feeler gauge.

Word of warning if you try and change the gap on the iridium you will most likely crack the coating. So best to verify to ensure they were not damaged before shipping but do not adjust them.

On the coppers you can adjust them with no problem.
Any auto parts store will have the correct tools to check and if needed modify the gap.

The nice gaping tools are on summit.

Thanks Chris

There are not many on the forum that “truly” know the ULT.

I gave Benny many ideas on how to improve the ULT hardware and manual ( LOL) over the years.
To bad he left Greddy to peruse other things in his life.

yeah, i remember he would be on the phone with you a lot! It's too bad there aren't more people like you two in the world that know the ultimate. Oh well, too late for that now, i think the ultimate is on it's final legs.

realy...

Guess I need to go a head and get another one for my 2010 Tacoma to correct the over rich A/F and higher then I would like EGTs that are a result of the factory flash/tune with the TRD supercharger.

Now if I could just find the pinouts for my 2010 Tacoma thats so much simpler then O-scoping every wire or extra long leads on the voltmeter check continuity between the under the hood plug and the finial plug...

well you're in luck, Benny works for Denso at the Toyota Corp headquarters here in Torrance. i'll hit him up and ask him if he can get the pinout for you. are there different model Tacomas? if so, PM me your specific model and email address.
