hey guys i have a comptech s/c and an EMU but for some reason my map clamp isnt working. (its been an ongoing problem) i used to have a missing link installed but removed it because the greddy seemed to be clamping the map. but today the map clamp failed again and i am not making any power. so here is my question

1. why isnt the map clamp working?
2. im going to install the missing link again but i dont have the filters for them. what can i use to subsitute the filters or do i even need the filter?

 

Check your wiring,and the map sensor itself and settings for the boost clamp in your map, also yes you need a filter it will stop crap getting in but also running without will effect it running properly.

Iiwu I would not run a missing link type mechanical map clamp, let the greddy do the job.

 

Couple of questions, how do you know the map clamp is not working? Did you data log and see a voltage spike? When you say your not making any power what exactly do you mean?
