Default Precision turbo choice

Well I am currently running a REV hard kit, but with a small crappy turbo. I have had the same kit with a gt3076 .78 AR with a 3mm HG boosting to 20 psi and it felt great. I am looking into the precision turbos but can not decide which would be best for my goals..

Right now i have

stock HG
RC650
rev hard kit
emanage ultimate
94 pump

I would give an estimate on HP goal but the dyno i use reads VERY VERY low.. I only got 350 whp with 20 psi gt30.

I will either be boosting to maybe 12 psi stock HG or I may later use a 3mm HG and go 18 or so

I have looked at the following

6262E .63AR

6265E .63AR

6076 .63AR or possibly .82 AR

I am just wondering if the 6262 .63 will too small. My tuner told me to stick with a .82 AR turbo, but i thought the 6262 would be plenty. I also looked at 5857's etc but want room to expand if i ever do

Thanks

A better manifold will take you pretty far with that turbo. I would ditch the 3mm hg too.

I would do the 5857BB, you may get creep with a bigger turbo and you really can't make the WG bigger on a log. I would also keep the 3mm as long as its working and boost no more than 20psi or 500hp which ever comes first. I ran the 6165 on the inline log when I had my car, it pulled very nice, I think even they make a 6062 unless you have to have a billett. I like quick spool over top end so I would opt for a smaller turbo.

I would ditch that manifold for atleast a pfab log.. ideally a tubular your running a good turbo that has potential.. get rid of the other weak links first

i agree with these guys, a good manifold will make a lot more power at much less psi with the gt30r, on a stock motor, full race manifold/ gt3076r i made 480/355 at 13-14 psi, and lastly, ditch the 3mm

maybe i worded my orginal post wrong.. I used to have a gt30 with this kit, but now have some T3/T4 POS in there... I just liked how the gt30 felt I want similar spool but with more top end thats why i was thinking the 6262 with .63.. Will that be a good choice? I am not sure why a pfab log would be much better... Still small runners in a log design T3 flanged...

I Have stock HG right now, but ran one before and got good results

I relaize that a better mani (tubular) would be better, but for now I just want a turbo with good top end. Would like to keep the stock 5 bolt DP so these turbos would have .63AR. what would be best? And should I opt for a .82 AR turbo. Or is that far too laggy?

6076
6262
6265
