Default Greddy kit

What's up guys. Really sad today. Put a greddy pfab replacement manifold in my kit and rebuilt the turbo. Went and had it tuned on a dynojet. I made 250hp 190tq on 10psi .. I am still running the emanage ultimate. I know I know the money just isn't there for a good standalone right now. The tuner was saying that there may be a boost leak. In Going check into that. Anyone know what maybe be the problem.? I've heard these kits make up to 300.

put the stock greddy manifold back on, and watch your 300+ whp. Same thing happend to me when i switched to pfab manifold. the greddys design is better it has small runners to direct the air out, compared to pfabs that the exhuast gases just ram into each other. good luck!

I would check the map clamp voltage table in the emanage I had to turn the last one I worked with down to 2.65 volts on a comptech kit it made about the same power with the map voltage clamped at 2.87 volts after I switched to 2.65 made 300whp

Well I replaced it because it was cracked really bad. And I assumed pfab since it's a "direct" replacement would be just as good. Guess not ..

Also when tuning I know the greddy kit has the vtec dip. It lost a considerable amount of power. Worse dip than I've seen. Is it just the emanage?

The vtec dip is caused but really bad restrictive log turbo manifolds. The only way to get rid of the dip is to make vtec engage some where above 7,000rpm. Just like every other greddy kit owner you going to eventually get rid of the kit and get a real turbo kit. Might as well just start collecting parts now.

Small turbos just don't work on our high flowing heads, I wouldn't fit anything smaller than a gt30 on an s2000.
