Thumbs up greddy kit boost creep

I got my tune with a test pipe and as expected I got boost creep, it creeped to about 3-4psi (13-14psi). So since I didnt want the boost creep I reinstalled my cat. By doing that I thought it would eliminate the boost creep but still didnt. It did help, but not too much. With the test pipe the highest I saw it peak was close to 14psi. With the cat installed the highest I saw it peak was about 13psi (.90 hkpa)

MY01
Greddy kit
Greddy type-S BOV
Tuned 10psi w/ 307rwhp
T1R 70mm v3 single exhaust
Blitz dual SBC spec s boost controller

Is this normal or what could it be? I plan on porting the wg out in the next week or so to "fix" the boost creep. Just want to know if it would be of something else? Do I need to have it tuned with the cat so it doesnt have boost creep?

PS: Have CEL P0411 but I know what that is and I dont see how that would effect the boost creep. Going to fix that as soon as I get a day off.

thanks for reading

Porting the wastegate should fix the problem.. Its wierd how some people have noticed bad creep but I have not experienced it at all (ported WG tho) with 3" single downpipe back... Is everything with the boost controller set up properly???

that looks more like a boost controller problem. do you have a dyno plot with the boost controller turned completely off? (spring pressure)

either way boost is hitting hard, dropping, and then creeping. something is wrong right from the get go.

I had the same issue. I took it to Greddy and they adjusted the actuator arm on the wastegate. After that I was at 8psi with the stock cat in. Before they adjusted it I was hitting 12-13 psi.

check the actuator for the proper adjustment and make sure it opens when it should. when the turbo is off the car, put pressure to it w/ a gauge so you can see at what psi it is opening.

also check the flapper arm to make sure it isn't getting caught up or seizing.

^^^^I agree, but have you tried running on stock boost off the WG... That will show if it is your boost controller or not... And i Know the code you have and all it usually is the vacuum lines are mis matched at the manifold or around the air pump..... Don't think that could throw off a vacuum source tho could it

this is my 1st tune

no bov, ebc, single exhaust just stock everything

if its no suppose to hit a peak of 10 psi then its probably the actuator.
suggestions??

thanks again

single exhaust doesn't help boost creep either...
