Default Greddy Turbo Problems

I installed a new Greddy Turbo Kit with the EMC that comes with the kit and noticed that the car was running a little from time to time. It would cut out periodically...so I went and had the car tuned in an effort to correct the issue. The tune is great and really opened up the power on the car, but the issue still persists. I later found out that the kit came with a new modified AP1 wiring harness. Greddy has sent a new AP2 harness but the issue still happens. I am wondering if it is the EMC is for an AP1. I think we will be getting Greddy to send us a new one of those as well.

Here is the problem...

Upon periodic hard excelleration the car will suddenly loose power and the green key light will start to blink on the dash. I will pull over and turn of the ignition, turn it back on and it will restart with no issue.

Has anyone experience similar issues.

I have read every post in an attempt to get my vtec dip problem fixed. You may want to check your Map sensor connection.

off topic.

Revenge, how the heck are you liking your HTG 4.77's with your turbo? Are you at half throttle like me, because wot sucks even with tune? I was thinking of going the same route because I like half throttle so much more than wot.

Sorry for the hijack dude. Cheers!

Hmm isn't that green light the immobilizer? I'd say check the fuse but if fuse was bad car would crank no start. I guess just double check the harness I can't really put my finger on what it could be though just double check everything you've done on the car you never know.

Your post is a little cryptic.

The car can stumble from temperature changes, bad vacuum connection, etc. Are you throwing CELs?

Immobilizer light flashing is a bit odd....

I know the AP1 Vs AP2 harnesses and maps for the e-manage are different, something with the TPS.

Does your car have an alarm or remote start?

No remote start on the car. It is not throwing a CEL, only the immobilizer light will will blink and then the engine will cut out. Once I come to a stop, I turn off the ignition and restart it and it works fine. There is no rhyme or reason, it does it periodically.

What is TPS?

U need to find a way to deactivate your immobilizer key sensor. It is shutting off your car becuase it is not detecting the key Everything works fine but until the engine management come in play and it just make the immobilizer system crap out so it just cause the car to cut off. It is not the car it is that you have a engine management and causing it to go haywire. I believe your car is a AP2? It happen to one of my cousin also.

Yes it is an AP2? Was he running a Greddy kit as well? What did he end up doing to fix it?
