I am new to the whole turbo thing so if anyone out there has installed this turbo or knows what they are talking about i could really use the help

As long as search is working for you, you will find nearly every question possible answered one way or another by searching for "Greddy turbo". There have been quite a few posts this year including a fully pictured DIY install by Kix.

In short the answer to your specific question is "No". You will need to get it tuned by someone experienced with E-Manage Ultimate tuning on a decent dyno. The basemap is good enough to drive safely to your tuner. A search should answer any other questions for you.

I don't live anywhere near there, so I can't give you a shop, but if money is no object to you and you really want plug and play, then look at the Kraftwerks supercharger thread in this forum. They spent a great deal of time and development money trying to achieve power while limiting tuning headaches. There is no Ap1 solution quite yet though. Its going to feel different than a turbo car, but it looks like a good product.

FYI search hasn't been working for me in two weeks. It only shows me one page and then if you try yo view another it gives you an error message.
Search hasn't been my friend lately. LOL

Greddy needs to be tuned, plain and simple. It really doesn't run right otherwise and you wont be happy with it.
