Greddy Upgrade (theoretically speaking)
funny you should ask about the t67. i made an adapter that bolts the T67 to the GReddy manifold. I was able to bolt the turbo on but the frame rail is so close it made it next too impossible to install in the car. i need to modify the adapter to get it to fit a little better. I think i figured out a way to make it without modifying the manifold for an external wastegate. for now though, the 20G will get it's last dyno run at 26 psi tomorrow. personally for the stroker I think the 20G should be fine for good low end power. tyler, the driver, likes more bottom to mid then top end but we are going to test a set up before buttonwillow with the T67. Since that isn't a protype turbo for the GReddy kit, I'll let you all know the results on that one.

I'm subscribed to this! I would love to see a turdo/downpipe upgrade to give us 50 more horsepower with the possibility of 400 with a HG. I have plenty of time to see this develop though. I just got me kit in and am getting it tuned/dynoed wed. I am still having a blast with it!

ok I'm really lame when it comes to forums so sorry if you have to deal with me. chris lum... sup man! TERROR... this 20G is weird. i can't explain what they did to it and i don't want to give much detail to mess with any sponsorship with them but i can say this, imagine stuffing a 20g into the center and turbine frame for a 518z yet get it to bolt to the s2k manifold with an internal wastegate. that is what it is. a little welding and a lot of lathe work on the housings. oh and it fits an 80mm intake pipe! i finished most of the dyno work today but i have one last high boost run tomorrow. most of you know that this car is for road racing so top end is important but not as much as low end tq. so without giving boost numbers i will say this 382hp 350tq and we are still far from high boost. if you as me I've never seen this much tq with this little hp and the tq not drop off much at redline. i know the numbers sound low but considering we ran a 1.48:8 on a stock 2.0-l at 300 hp at buttonwillow on a bone stock GReddy tubo kit says a lot.
REVENGE... the t2.5 manifold outlet is fine for high boost but i will say this, we did port the manifold inlet ports since there is a lot left on it to match port and the outlet of the manifold has a lot of casting left to grind out. i thing since the kit is designed to last a life time they made the casting on the outlet side of the manifold really thick to take a beating but if the car is tuned right you can grind away without the manifold cracking under high heat and pressure. i made the mistake of not porting it when we ran the car for the last couple of races without vtec. we ran it on the small cam. exhaust manifold backpressure was super high with the intake boost at 24 psi our manifold back pressure max out the gauge at over 40 psi and our gauge reads to 40 yet spun the needle around back to 10 psi. hahaha my bad. so we cracked the manifold but that was my mistake for trying something differnent.
sorry so long.
gotta go

Thats good info Gary. A lot of people have been wondering what the Design Craft/Cwest have been doing with the car, especially since it continuously changes from race to race! Hopefully with you on the forums now, some rumors and guessing can be cleared up with clean cut facts!
There's also a thread somewhere in this FI section about BC cams. A lot of questions about those are in the air as well.
