Greddy Upgrade (theoretically speaking)
Hey fells, I love the Greddy kit, 300RWP is nice, but I want to rape cars on the street, not just edge them out.
anway I know everyone is going to say, "blahblahblah, should'nt have wasted the money on the greddy kit blah blah blah", but I have made some nice money this summer and was thinking, cant I just buy everything PRE-intercooler bigger?, what I mean is cant I buy an Inline pro Manifold, a Turbo, a downpipe and mount that to my car, plug it into my intercooler (is the greddy inter cooler to small?), get my car re-tuned (3mm HG if I need to), and BOOM i have a more powerful car?
I guess I would need injectors too, and a wastegate............

if you keep the intercooler and the piping just realize that's the ONLY thing you wont be replacing.
for a bigger turbo you'd need a different manifold and an external wastegate. a different manifold means you'd need a different downpipe. different turbo ALSO means new injectors probably, and then as a strong consideration you'd likely want to go EMS in replacement to the less able EMU.
so basically you'd be selling your greddy kit incomplete. if you can get somebody to bite at it for a decent price then yes go for it. personally i think it would be easier and financially a better decision to sell it to someone complete, and then just jump over to another system.
from what i have read there is one other turbo that greddy makes that will fit on your manifold, but i believe the downpipe flange is different.
best of luck, let us know what you decide on!

Greddy might do an 'offroad' T618Z kit for the S in the future. Possibly a hardware only kit (ie. no tuning software included).
I also have pics of the Cwest time attack S2000 from CA speedway today. It has a T618Z and Greddy/Tial wastegate. I'll post them up soon.
