ya but it all adds up very quickly. I'm just gonna go with a puddymod differential.
That's a band-aid. I don't see how that mod can handle the continued abuse of 650+rwhp.

the inlinepro one is more of a hassle then anything else tho, we have to go out and find the differential ourselves, and then spend another 3g on just buying there kit, then the labor to put it together
exactly. And then the axles seem to have issues, and the diff might need a rebuild from worn clutches, etc. The puddy diff fits in the same place, and looks stock and drives basically like stock and is a LOT stronger. Hence why its the best option IMO.

well its not like im gonna be driving the car constantly at 650whp.

I rarely drive the car in high-boost as it is and i NEVER LAUNCH!!!!!!

the only thing that could concern me is my low-boost is at 460whp hahaha but even still, i dont drive like an idiot either. so hopefully a rebuilt diff from puddy would be a great benefit for the way i drive

You really have two options, either R200 setup or a ford 8.8. Why spend all that money on a diff setup that u still cant have fun and do the most tabboo thing there is in a s2k, LAUNCH!!

even if i launched...i'd just spin the tires. I did a burnout in 6th gear...i'm pretty sure launching in 1st won't get me anywhere.

The R200 is a strong diff Hands down but its too $$$ for what i want, and i heard it comes with extra issues that i'm not gonna discuss in my thread.

i didn't build this car to launch or race with it. Just a fun weekend car that i can really have alot of fun with

racing is fun too but on a roll is all i can do unless i want faaaat slicks on the car, which i don't.

Most girls are already scared as it is to get into my car LOL.

one more week i'm soo excited!!!!!! i can't believe after having the car for 2 1/2 days i blew the diff. Thats power LOL. i really want to get a dyno-pack read out. and test the car on different dyno's.

My tuner also told me that, he called Garret about my turbo ( because the power that was made, is more hp then the website limited) that they were not surprised because the F20C motor is such a well efficient motor that they wern't surprised that it made the power it made.

our S2000's have SUCH an efficient motor that it is possible to produce higher numbers then previous records on different cars. because of the #'s we made, their are people who doubt the power was made but I will prove everyone wrong. i do plan on doing dyno runs on numerous "popular" tuners & shops to prove that the power that was made on my car is real and not inflated numbers.

Mike@autowave did an excellent job building this engine and making the most successful power on this specific set-up. More then any other GT35R turbo has made in history. Thats why i want to prove to everyone that his dyno is not rigged and that the power that was made has set new limits to the potential this turbo can make( on our cars obviously) Just one more week then i can start doing those other dyno tests :-D

As soon as Puddymod is finished with my diff and its installed ill go around to local other "popular" shops and post all the different dyno readings.

Very interesting thread. Controversy is always good, especially when its backed up the way Momentum has. I'm always a skeptic when something happens out of the norm but not closed minded enough to believe that barriers can't be broken.

Let's see what she does.
