Default Hardtop vs Soft top and suspension

Have any of you guys done anything to your cars aerodynamically to make your car quicker up top. Has anyone noticed a difference between a lowered car with or without a diffuser or a soft top vs hardtop at higher speeds? It feels like my car is hitting a brick wall 100+ mph from drag. Im running stock suspension and soft top currently. I definately feel the car lifting up top. Its good down low cause it squats but i want to do other things that people over may "over look" to get those higher trap speeds. I might cover the entire bottom of the car.

i have heard of people saying HT gives better fuel economy esp on the highway. i know my car feels fastrer top up then down, so i could buy into that. but honestly, nothing will be better then just upping the boost

I will be doing race gas and upping the boost but I think that the aero stuff is gonna make a big difference in time. I just wonder if anyone here has had any sucess with some of the after market stuff out here for the s2000's like if there all for show or do they really work in a straight line at high speeds thn just around a track We painted a race bike recently AMA I think competition and for they're bikes they do alot of aero stuff. Stiffening parts air ducts all that type stuff because they can't "up the boost" per say

I remember reading the Spoon Mooncraft top gave a higher straight speed on a road course than the OEM and Mugen.

I'll buy into that. That is the reason the corvette kept the tear drop shape of the back glass.

So spoon Hardtop it is. People from the outside of the car say it squats due to the stock suspension but at speed it's noticably lifting. I might try to lower the front without compromising to much. Cover the bottom make a rear diffuser or something

Pretty much all suspension "squats", that is an attribute of the rear subframe actually.

the spoon mooncraft hardtop gave a 13 mph improvement on Spoon's test course on the main straight vs the OEM hardtop.
