only time you hear the wine is when the ignition is on and the car is not running. over the engine & exhaust at idle you should not hear it. Driving down the road with the add road noise you really shoud not hear it.
you could always insulate the above the fule tank to try cut down the noise.

I like to hear the pump prime, wait till it stops b4 hitting the start button.

Use the evo 9 pump, you can get them used for like $30 and it flows more.

im not an evo 9 pump! besides i dont want a used pump
saving $150 for a $4000 engine isnt really all that smart.

as for the noise, when i turn the key on is when i really dont want to hear the pump

supra pump can support 750hp, its a pretty ridiculous factory pump

a good fit for 3000GTs

im thinking the supra pump wont fit without some major mods. the oem and walbro pumps are both about the same size and they fit inside a cylinder that houses the pump. the supra pump is much larger in diameter so i think it wont fit unless i cut out the cylindrical housing.
