only time you hear the wine is when the ignition is on and the car is not running. over the engine & exhaust at idle you should not hear it. Driving down the road with the add road noise you really shoud not hear it.
you could always insulate the above the fule tank to try cut down the noise.
I like to hear the pump prime, wait till it stops b4 hitting the start button.

im not an evo 9 pump! besides i dont want a used pump
saving $150 for a $4000 engine isnt really all that smart.

im thinking the supra pump wont fit without some major mods. the oem and walbro pumps are both about the same size and they fit inside a cylinder that houses the pump. the supra pump is much larger in diameter so i think it wont fit unless i cut out the cylindrical housing.
