Default help! not making any boost?

I just installed a speedcraft kit but on my profec e-01, it says that I idle around -9 psi and I go up to about 0 after a short run. What could be wrong? I turned the profec off so I should be boosting around what the spring rate is (4psi).

Edit: I got it to go to 1.7 psi after i unplugged one the cap off the NO side of the solenoid. However, it only makes a maximum of 1.7psi and only at the top

I also notice excess smoke. I thought that it was gasket material and what not burning away but it doesnt seem to go away. After I press the throttle a couple times to check boost, smoke seems to come back. In addition, there is a small whistle sound. Could turbo failure cause these problems along with the low boost levels?

I would guess the whistle is the turbo spooling up and is normal. As for the smoke, it's probably a combination of gaskets and the turbo. Do a google on breaking in a new turbo. As far as not building boost, double check the plumbing of the vacuum lines for the boost controller/wastegate.

Turbo is not new, it was a used turbo. I'm almost positive the lines are all correct. I have a line going from the compressor to the side of the Tial wastegate. Then a tee fitting coming off of that to the NC side of the solenoid then the COM going to the top of the wastegate.

Piping seems to be fine. I made sure all of it was tight yesterday. I'll be going over the bolts around the manifold and turbo tomorrow to see what's good. Any other suggestions?

Also, off topic but its my thread so... does anyone know where I can find a good 3" flexpipe for an exhaust?
