Ouch that sounds bad when u tightened the belt can u turn it 90deg with ur fingers? If not it's too tight.

What bearing? and the belt might have been too tight

check to that the impeller isn't touching the compressor, but it sounds like a bearing

i just checked the impeller and it is not moving. So im guessing the bearing is seized or closed to being seized?
what would be my next step? a rebuild?
