Default Highest engine comp with boost + E85?

I'm sending a spare block off to get sleeved, but still need to order pistons. I will be going the F24C route. I already have the crank and inline pro rods.

I tried searching but to no avail. To anyone that has personal experience, what is the highest comp ratio that is safely runable on boost with E85...well E72 to be exact.

I found a great deal on some CP pistons but the comp is 10:1 for f20, 10.6:1 for f22, so i need to check but i assume it would be 11.3:1 on a F24

this will be using a bw s257 between 5-550hp and all the tq I can get

I have no personal experience but my tuner said that on e85 I could run as much boost as I want on the stock s2ks 11:1 compression ratio. (Are you thinking about using a high compression ratio like 12:1 or 13:1? ) It's just that you need other supporting mods like springs and retainers since the valves might start lifting pass 19-20psi lbs of boost. Im interest to find out as well.

On e85 he says that I can boost up to 27psi or what ever you like.

E85 is considered super high octane race fuel. I would thing you can run as much compression and boost as you want. I sure you can run 13 to 1 and higher compression with 30+ pounds of boost as long as the engine is built to take that kind of power.

eh, it's inconsistent on the percentage though. Here it's anywhere between 67 and 78 % which would equate to like 100-109? octane. something like that.

I just pulled the trigger so ill let ya know.
Not counting the guys that use all oem parts for their F24, this is going to be one of the most budget F24's out there. Bought a spare motor, machine work, sleeving it, the stroker kit, pistons, and gaskets. All in will be right at $2k... Fkin killin it

I am the tuner for this Taurus SHO and it's running a 13:1 compression motor (stock motor with new forged pistons) on an EFR 8374. This pass was with 13 PSI, however, I tuned it up to 21 PSI on the dyno. E85 lets you get away with a lot of compression with boost. As long as the content is above 70%, I'm good with pushing the motor. This SHO has a bigger turbo this year and aiming for 1,000+ whp. We will push the current motor as far as we can, but he has a new motor being finished up which is slightly less compression, much stronger pistons, aluminum rods, etc.

I believe the higher you go in static CR, the tighter the tuning window becomes; ie, timing become very sensitive.. So, you want to make sure you have a competent tuner that is comfortable tuning with a tight window.

I didn't even know what that was. No, I don't know anything about finding specific OEM parts for that vehicle.

Lol. Barra is an inline 4.0 Ford motor produced and sold in ford Australia supposedly stronger than Supra 3.0
