Default Highest RPMs on AP2 with built head

So I'm picking up an AP2 this weekend ('04) and will be swapping over my performance parts from my AP1. My question is how high can you spin the F22 (safely)? I was told my Alaniz PnP head could take 10k RPM's, but I assumed that was on a F20. I'll be running a CTSC w/12lb pulley or switching to a Turbo setup. Either way I'll be running stock CR.

What is the limiting factor at that point?

I'd say piston velocity, but let's see what others have to say. Too high of a piston velocity would cause excess side loading and also stress on the rod bolts due to the increased thrust angle.

You can run at 9k just fine especially with forced air. The head will safely rev that high, the bottem end however has been proven to have weak wrist pins but under boost you are forcing air in, not sucking it down which would create more stress on the wrist pins.

what? No, your not right. So when boosted the internals like it more than when its NA? REALLY? The rod/stroke ratio is what determines piston speeds, and they SHOULD NOT exceed 8500rpm because power will drop from piston side loads and you are wearing the engine very fast. I want the OP to know that what you have said makes no sense at all so he doesnt make a mistake.
Good lookin' out Andy

What is the rev limiter/fuel cut off set at on the AP2?
