That sounds like it. Can you not see into that area? Wait until the car is cold and feel around there.

Its raining again here. I hope to go out before dark and check it out. How hard are those bolts to tighten??

Alright well I located at least one bolt. Its the turbo to manifold bolt. Its backed pretty much all the way out. Its a bit*& to get to and it was getting late and was still very hot. I will make another atempt at it before work in the morning.

Upon further inspection I am missing one bolt completely and the bolt that I had noticed had backed out to the point of falling out but I torqued it back down. This sucks.

Two nights ago I was coming home from a bar with some friends and noticed my car was running like crap. The turbo wouldn't spool, couldn't hear the dumptube whistle, and my high cam wouldn't engage. It was basically a SOHC non-vtec feel

It turned out that the charge pipe going into the throttle body had completely backed out of the coupler!

Are you able to get to those bolts at all?

Just the one that didn't fall out. The other one I will probably have to disassemble the entire setup to get to. PRS2K had the exact same issue with it when he had it. He said roughly 13 hours of work.
