Default HKS SSQV volume

Hi,

Would the BOV noise be audiable from the cabin using an HKS SSQV on a stock comptech/Vortech install? Would I need to change the spring?

I'm going FI in the near future, hopefully after the summer, and want a BOV that is audiable!

I don't suppose anybody has got any vids or sound slips they could post of their BOV noises?

I got a vortech kit w/ the vortech BOV and I can hear it from inside the car just fine. Gets people to turn their heads real fast when i drive by.

But you're running a much smaller pulley, so pressure would be greater, thus I would imagine the sound be louder?

No bov will be that loud at 5-7psi; there simply isn't that much pressure coming out of the pipes.

i am utilizing a vortech bypass valve with my CTSC+FMIC setup boosting at 8 psi.. it is pretty loud in the cabin, and from what my friends have told me, it is also audible from outside.

Really? Mine is way loud, If you have it turned upwards I noticed it was a lot louder than facing down, it was almost to the point of being annoying, so I turned it back around.

I have the hks on my car (14lbs)CTSC its not very loud at all. Dans2k has tried different routing of the vaccum lines with his godzilla made quite a difference. It can be routed to be loud or near silent..
