Really? Mine is way loud, If you have it turned upwards I noticed it was a lot louder than facing down, it was almost to the point of being annoying, so I turned it back around.
mine is turned upwards. but still silent.

i am utilizing a vortech bypass valve with my CTSC+FMIC setup boosting at 8 psi.. it is pretty loud in the cabin, and from what my friends have told me, it is also audible from outside.
can i bolt the vortech bypass valve right on to my CT aftercooler? how much was it?

Half of it is pressure and half is volume.

I have the hks ssqv on my WRX and when it goes off it is loud but dosen't make the twitter. It dosen't twitter because i'm only running the stock 12psi and there isn't enough volume of air from the turbo to intercooler. With the WRX's stock intercooler it gets its twitter at around 14psi.

With an s2k it is just the pressure part, because most super/turbo kits come with a good sized intercooler

Not sure how different it is on a supercharger from a turbo (if at all) but my SSQV on my Camry (yes I said Camry) is audible inside even at 3-5 PSI.

I have a Greddy Type R BOV and it's pretty damn loud, even on a CTSC with a 4.3" pulley.

No difference at all except that usually turbo systems are running higher pressure and CFMs.
