Default HondaBond for Headgasket replacement or not?

Do i use gasket sealant or not? just around chain case cover or where? there are two hondabond gasket sealants HT and Hondabond 4 which one do i use?

I'm not sure if the whole engine will be removing from the car - i doubt it.

I've been told to go with ARP bolts and heat cycle them and i shouldnt have any issues down the line, not sure how many times to run engine out of boost then take head off and retorque, once?

Thanks

honda bond only on the timing cover area, I always use hondabond ht, u dont have to take the head off, just retorque to 90 ft/lbs after a few days.

Yes, use some HB around the TB cover, the service manual shows you exactly where to put it. If you have the head off, then I'd put ARP's in if it were me, you do not need to heat cycle them, just make sure you follow the PROPER tq sequence.

I've never done this, and have never had a head left, nor has any of my friends. I mean you buy a new car, you don't do all that jazz, no different.

Proper tq specs and sequence is all that's needed imo.

Arp studs do not stretch to my knowledge. The only time you want recheck tq specs is when your reusing oem studs. I personally would not reuse head studs though. Its kind of like taking a $hit and not wiping your a$$.

I myself did not retorque and never had issues, but most people say to do so after a few heat cycles
