Hondata K-Pro
you can always get the modifry mod for AEM to get the temp gauge working again...
I dunno, I think it would be "safer" to use EMS, simply because if something goes wrong, chances are, you'll find help quicker... and more people are used to tuning w/ the AEM.

Its been discussed a hundred times before its still easier and less expensive, and simply more efficient to get the 1052u.
We will be running the new K-pro for one of our personal cars and maybe put one into our race car. We'll see how it goes and i might pick one up for my own personal as well. We've already bought all the needed parts from honda and are just now waiting for our K-pro's to arrive. We'll def. keep you guys updated. We all really think this system is going to be as good as it seems.

only thing about used parts I was talking about was that I heard I could get an Acura RSX Type S K-Pro and get it flashed but that is not an issue I will buy new if neccessary.
Also if you read the S2000 K-Pro page on Hondata.com they clearly state that they will not modify a used ECM, only new ones sourced by them.
I have owned both the kpro system on my previous car ('03 EP3 Si) and I am using EMS now on my S2K. I will say that I LOVE the kpro ecu and swore to myself when I got the S that if it ever became available for the S, I would get it. It was hands down my favorite mod for my EP3. It is completely customizable, OEM as well so you're still OBDII compliant (guys who have to get smogged benefit well from this), and is very versatile.
That said, there's a lot of parts that have to be swapped out in order to get the kpro to work on the S. By the time you spend the money on those parts and pay the price of kpro, it just doesn't seem cost effective anymore compared to the EMS. If I still had my EP3 or any other k-series honda, I would not hesistate to get kpro and not even look at EMS, however I think given the capabilities and positive feedback about EMS and it's cost compared to kpro... it would just be silly to go kpro.
