Default Hondata Turbo Question

i have a 2008 s2000

Is there anything else in addition to the flashpro in terms of engine management that I will need to run a boosted S2000?.....searched and no concise answer

You'll need bigger injectors, and possibly a different MAP sensor if you plan to run high boost levels. If you want boost control, you'll need something separate for that too.

thanks,
im talking just for the engine management system tho. i have inj, etc etc. so all i need is flashpro and map sensor?

with flashpro, you dont need anything additional from hondata to run boost?

no you dont. The hondata flash pro cant control boost. so you dont need that. you can just get a manual boost controller. Or just run off the spring.

thats interesting, im pretty new to turbo and tuning so this is all new to me. running just off the spring in the wg is kind of unreliable no?? manual boost controller seems liek the way to go.

also what if you wanted to run two diff settings? like high boost and low boost? i would imagine you would need a boost controller. swapping out the spring everytime u switch boost levels would suck. am i on the right page here?

You can use AEM tru boost to control the boost

You don't need to replace the MAP sensor unless you go with a high boost setup. I think the stock sensor is good up to 10 PSI, IIRC.
