You don't need to replace the MAP sensor unless you go with a high boost setup. I think the stock sensor is good up to 10 PSI, IIRC.
Good for 11 psi. But why not just change it. I wouldn't trust it reading right once its around 9lbs. Because it will be maxing out. Its just $100. worth it for sure.

thats interesting, im pretty new to turbo and tuning so this is all new to me. running just off the spring in the wg is kind of unreliable no?? manual boost controller seems liek the way to go.
I have 2 for sale in my FS thread. There at 1/2 price Also with running off the spring... lets say you have a 10lbs spring. You will only hit 8lbs of boost. Because it will lose the 2lbs while working threw the piping and intercooler.

thanks guys. u guys answered a lot of my questions.

now.....to dish out extra couple hundred and get trueboost or settle with a manual bc.............'pulling my hairs out' ...going turbo is NOT cheap! for those debating how u want to tune your car.

There's no real need for a wideband O2, since the primary O2 sensir is a wideband.

F the STEALERS!!! SOOO many bad calls from NY.

anyhow, so a wideband is not necessary? im planning on running low boost around 8-9lbs and a highboost of 14-18psi. when running two boost settings how do u determine which wastegate to buy? doesn't it only fit one spring setting?
