Default Hot Rod Class - 14th Annual Sport Compact Fallnational

When

October 1&2 , 2011

Where

Raceway Park - Englishtown, NJ http://www.etownraceway.com/

What

Hot Rod Class

Rules

Rules will be the same as NSCRA Hot Rod Rules. So FWD, AWD, RWD, rotaries, 4 cylinder, 6 cylinder are all welcome http://www.nscra.com/hot-rod

.400 Pro Tree
Pro Ladder 1 vs 16, 2 vs 15, and so on
Obviously courtesy staging should be observed.
Your car should have H/R on the window, and whatever your number is, placed on 4 sides of the vehicle. The front/back windows, and 1/4 or side windows.

Entry Fees

$200 deposit for the purse sent to careybales@mac.com (paypal) Please include your name, screen name on HT, and car that you are entering. If you don't pre-register, just bring cash to the race, and you can enter there. Just make sure your car meets the rules set. If the racers decide to put more into the pot, that's cool, but this is a good starting point. It would be nice to know before hand how many we are going to have, but I understand that's not also feasible. So just show up and find me after you get there (we had quite a few show up the day of).

All drivers must also purchase a 2-day tech card at the track. Which is $100. This includes (4) 2-day crew passes as well.

Depending on how many we get to commit will determine our payout amount.

Payouts

Lets get a tentative list going

Here is a list so far with people that have shown interest.

boostedh22a- Carey Bales - 04 Honda S2000
HR-1320 - Steve Merman - Honda Civic
xtremvw - Marc Hubert - VW Golf
nickbrunet - Nick Brunet - Chevy Cavalier
Garcia-Racing - Tony Garcia - Pontiac Sunfire
kutsujula - Honda S2000

There were about 7-8 more guys that ran last year, but most weren't on here, chime in if you are interested, and please spread this information to anyone that you feel would be interested in running in the Hot Rod class.

Yes, you'll need to have all the safety requirements per NHRA rules.

Englishtown's tech is pretty strict.
