also, most guys are revving higher than the stock redline, doing that will start to flatten the powerband. shift at the stock redline and the power will still be going uphill.

honestly the power flattening up top isn't a big deal, it's going downhill that you want to avoid.

i like a flat power curve. if your get to your power goal by say...6500RPMS and you can hold it all the to 9000rpms then flat is good.

rememebr,,,its not bout a dyno number,,,,,thats just a damn reference. it how fast eh car actually is or feels to you. if 350whps is all you need to make your nuts draw up, then stick with it

only way would be to continue to add boost by rpm like a centrifugal blower does.
This might be the case yes, and thats very possible with a boost solenoid controlled by the ems.
However, even if this is the case, there are ways to minimize the need for increased boost by improving other things, and thats basically what I am after, and so far I have gotten alot of approaches and ideas, which is very nice.

Yes I might agree with you on this, but depends on if we are talking power or torque here. The torque can slowly go down and the power can still go up slowly with increased rpms. My wish is to maintain about the same torque all the way or at least minimize the the drop.

It is the torque at a specific rpm that makes the car accelerate and therefor determines how it feels. If the torque drops it will feel slower regardless of what the power curve says.

The curve spectacle posted earlier is infact very close to what I am thinking of.

I see the big difference between those manifolds, but what happens with the 40whp between these tests? Where do they go with the log manifold? Are they lost by restrictions that somehow make a lever arm effect on the power? I have a hard time thinking there can be 40whp worth of extra stress and heat in the engine.
