Default How to clean my SC bracket?

I am thinking it is made out of stainless? What would be the best method to clean/shine it? I am thinking maybe a scotch bright pad or some steel wool? Has anyone done this with positive results? Any help or suggestions would be great thanks.

Here is the part I am talking about

that may clean it but I guess it isn't really dirty. I need to polish it or something so give it a shine. What would be the best thing to use for that?

the thought has crossed my mind. However on my last car I did that. I ended up chroming just about every bracket and bolt under the hood. It got a little expensive. And if I take this to the chrome shop I know I won

My cousin has a mold making shop and whenever they need to polish something they use a diamond compound to polish it.It leaves a mirror finish.

It's aluminium. Use something that doesn't scratch it.
