Thumbs up How come so few 06+ Vortech Supercharged owners?

yo fellas,

I had a previous 05 with the CTSC which put out about 304 rwhp which I was super happy with but this time around I want more power....

Picked up a 09 GPW and with the DBW setup I wanted something powerful but also trouble free and passes SMOG so NO TURBO kits!

Debating the Vortech kit vs the Kraftwerks kit

Can you guys chime in on which one is better and why? Any big differences between the kits? I really like the Vortech more in terms of appearance as you see this big blower right in front of the motor

Looking to put out 360+ rwhp this time around

thanks!

I'm 70% sure I want to use the Vortech kit but just curious why so few people are running this kit?

Is it due to the cost factor? hmmm

I think it is because 06+ are fairly new.

I would get the SOS kit.

woops didn't see this. If Vortech is CARB and you need that then Vortech is fine.

VT and SOS are both good kits.

The Vortech kit for 06+ isn't carb exempt yet. It's still pending. So far the only FI that's carb legal for 06+ is the greddy kit.
