How do I know if my Vacuum Solenoid is working?
Hi guys.
I recently installed my supercharger... got tuned and everything. Runs fine - pulls hard.
I am 99% sure that I installed my vacuum lines right, but I wanted to ask: would I experience anything if I DIDN'T install them correctly? Rough idle maybe? Would I be notified in any way?
My vacuum solenoid lost that black plastic cap and it was running fine when stock, but want to be aware should it go out on me at some point.
Thanks for any help!

Are you talking about the blow off valve on the aftercooler?
Out of curiosity though, what WOULD happen if the vac line to the head of the BOV came off?

The AEM EMS doesn't support the air injection. Even if the solenoid was removed the EMS wouldn't know or care.
If so, do I need to "cap" them or can I just leave the vacuum lines open-to-air?
As long as you don't have a vacuum leak going to the solenoid, it will not effect how the engine runs. Yo can also remove the entire air injection system without causing a issue while using the EMS.

So in order to leave the main vac lines open-to-air, I would also need to remove the air pump under the drivers headlight & cap that port off too right?
Sorry for all the questions!
