Default How do my plugs look

My AFR looks rich on my wideband. 10.9 all the way to 9k. Just wanted to get an opinion from some of you. Running stock timing as i am using the emange blue to adjust fuel and i dont have the igniton harness for it just the injector harness

BTW these were all gapped at the stokc 0.045. i have since replaced the plugs with the same gapped to 0.030

I would say a bit lean, they look grey and speckled, take some MACRO pics of them, easier to read

I will let someone else chime in, but they don't look to healthy. From what I have read the white speckles are melted metal from you piston that melted then hardened on your spark plug.

Don't quote me though, could just be the lighting

The first pictures they don't look so bad, kinda look like they wore normally but that closeup has a weird coloring so it makes it hard to tell. This link might help though.

The first plug close up almost looks like detonation speckles all over the ceramic. Could be the pic though.

im running an ap2 pulley in an ap1 so i am running more boost than normal. I tried cleaning off one of the plugs with my finger and it just looked like a brown dust. i dont really see any specs that are shiney.

How many people actually check the pulgs correctly? You're supposed to kill the ignition and pull the plugs at the point you want to check them. So say you want to know how they look in boost, and at 7000rpm....go hit full boost and 7000rpm and turn the key off, then pull the plugs.

If you do some pulls then drive home, let it idle etc, it will change the way the plugs look.

This method can be sorta hard to do on the street, that's why it's easier to do on the dyno.
