How do my plugs look

You dont have to shut it down right after you hit your target rpm you want to check the plugs at on a dyno. You can bring the car back to idle and then check them and you will see the same outcome.

not for long, if it idles too long then it can change the reading....

This is what I've understood as well.

Those plugs just look old and tired.

Swap them for a new set, carry on.
