How Do My Plugs Look?
I finally got around to changing my valve cover gasket as I think it was leaking. While in there, I decided to see how my plugs looked. These are pre-gapped NGK 2668/BRK8EIX, which were installed when I installed the Base SOS kit on my '05 2,500 miles ago.
If any further details are needed to assess their condition, please let me know. Hopefully the following pictures are good enough. Is there anything to be concerned about?

Johnny, from the pics your plugs look good overall, no deposits, crust, popcorn, they have even burning with good tan color. #3 looks to be running a bit richer then the other plugs however, also you have a fair bit of residue on our threads towards the tips, more so on #3 as well. There may be some slight oil getting into your combustion chamber. None of the plugs are wet with oil residue however so that's a good sign, you might just have a slight bit being consumed from your valve seals weeping at times. Any oil usage/consumption at all that you have noticed? Its hard to tell the difference sometimes between an overly fuel rich black residue left on the plug and some very slight oil burning residue.
Looking again, it looks like your #1 plug is wet with some oil residue on the top portion of the threads. It could be possible that your simply leaking oil down past your plugs from a leaking valve cover or plug gaskets.

Probably the best way is to judge on your own...
