Default How this look for my Electric cut-out?

Well the Downpipe with the PFAB ELT manifold i 3" so I will run a 3" test pipe, however I will also add one of these

QTEC30CP Single 3" Electric Valve, Wiring Harness and 1 Toggle Switch w/10300 Stainless Steel Cutout Pipe $215.00

Question I have is, where do I place it, prior to the Test pipe? I would imagine I would have to cut away some piping from my exhaust, because adding this will make my exhasut too long?

Anyway, anyone hear of these guys?

Heres the link, and the product number is QTEC30CP

Go to where it says "application chart"

If you're running 3 inches all the way back, why mess with the cutout? I'm assuming you're going to run some super quiet restrictive mufflers and want that little extra whenever its fun time?

i have one of these installed on my car. I have put about 10k miles on it without issue.

I installed it where the test pipe was. It basically dumps post down pipe, pre stock exhaust.

No you would not need a test pipe as long as you put the cutout before the cat

Was nt planning on having a cat either, basically DP/Cut-out/ Invidia exhaust, I mean I could use the OEM cat, but then I would have to cut some piping off, which I will probably have to do anyway

You can do that too. On my last exhaust I just had a straight 3" pipe from the down pipe a muffler. No Will have a straight 4" pipe from the down pipe no muffler. It wouldn't be a bad idea to put the cat back on just to keep it quiet until you open the cut out.

Joey.. I can help you set this up if you want. Souls car is at my house now actually and we are redoing his DP/cutout setup. You're not going to have room to run a cutout and stock cat, basically the cutout needs to go where the stock cat sits. Its takes up a ton of space and your car is lowered so you don't want things hanging and potentially scraping. The exhaust is directly connected to the mani/turbo, if it takes a hard enough hit it will cause damage/cracking... Also remember, by dumping exhaust directly under the car you run the risk of burning everything in its path. A turn down would be ideal off the open side of the cutout.

I wouldn't worry about Legal.. Not with an open dumptube atleast.

I believe QTP is local to us so you can go visit their shop/warehouse if you want to see the stuff first hand.
