Well the Downpipe with the PFAB ELT manifold i 3" so I will run a 3" test pipe, however I will also add one of these
QTEC30CP Single 3" Electric Valve, Wiring Harness and 1 Toggle Switch w/10300 Stainless Steel Cutout Pipe $215.00
Question I have is, where do I place it, prior to the Test pipe? I would imagine I would have to cut away some piping from my exhaust, because adding this will make my exhasut too long?
Anyway, anyone hear of these guys?
Heres the link, and the product number is QTEC30CP
Go to where it says "application chart"

I should have done this on my car, the Asura exhaust sounds really good but I prefere the lack of noise of the stock system.
I ran a pair of QTEC valves on my C5 Z06. I see the newer ones have a built-in timer or position sensor (I had to manually release the switch when it was fully open or closed).
They tend to jingle in the closed position after a while. Red RTV as a soft-stop or seal can reduce that jingle. As minitoyota said, the hot exhaust is an issue. It was a contributing factor to snapping my rear transverse spring. I had to fab up a complicated heat shield after that.

you can run a stock exhaust system including the cat if you put the cutout at the bottom of the downpipe, at the bend (where it goes back under the car)
once again, i posted this in your other very similar thread

[QUOTE=minitoyota,Aug 4 2009, 01:18 PM] Joey.. I can help you set this up if you want. Souls car is at my house now actually and we are redoing his DP/cutout setup. You're not going to have room to run a cutout and stock cat, basically the cutout needs to go where the stock cat sits. Its takes up a ton of space and your car is lowered so you don't want things hanging and potentially scraping. The exhaust is directly connected to the mani/turbo, if it takes a hard enough hit it will cause damage/cracking...
