Default How much boost can i run?

I would love to put a vortech sc on my o4 s2000 but with 11 to 1 pistons how much boost can i ran safe? I do not want to change hg. So i guess im looking for u guys who have put the vortech sc on and can tell me how much boost your running on a competly STOCK engine and how much hp can you gain.Is it worth it? I mean i dont want to spend all that $ for 30 or 40 hp. Thanks any help will be appriciated.

Your '04 probably has 11.1:1 compression. You can probably get away with 10 psi but that is close to the ragged edge. I personally would not take it beyond 9 psi for longevity reasons. I would also suggest an AEM EMS and good tuning. You will definately make more than 30 or 40 hp IMHO 130 or 140 hp.

Thanks sideways so 7 or 8 psi would be fine? and would i need to do anything else? to fuel or so on? how much hp would i gain? at 7 or 8 psi

You'll probably want to go with larger injectors. I'm using 550s with my Comptech @7 psi.

I'd recommend the AEM EMS as well.

i will be going .6 bar turbo on my s2 which equates to 8.86 psi, i think

I'm at 7 lbs. (CT w/AC) with nothing added and got 100 WHP.

Yes.

About 290-300 hp depending on the dyno. Some massage your ego better than others.

You'll definitely feel a difference.
