so just wondering wat kind of stock internals does a 00 s2k have? (forged any of them) and how much boost can the stock engine handle if any

ive read and spoken to people that if you upgrade the headgasket and it can handle more 3mm

yes true .. i thought he was talking stock head gasket...im talking about stock motor... no headgasket

What's the point in pushing the stock motor? If you're gonna build a high (ish) HP application then do it right. No point in running 400 at the wheels and it not being reliable. You'll spend more money rebuilding the motor in the long run.

Personal opinion, take it with a grain of salt.

mine is at stage 6 in jacksonville at the moment and it is running comfortably 400 whp at 10 psi, on stock engine exhaust and cat, and 125k on the mileage

going for 450 on stock this weekend i believe,

The pistons and cylinders are not designed for boost so 9 or 10 psi maximum.

I broke a ring land on a piston with just a touch more boost.

with a 3mm headgasket and stock block I have made 517whp @ 19psi

i was talking about you car... mase is a the man... he tuned it to the max but still reliable to drive all day long...
