How does that tire combo work for you on the street as a daily driver? Hows the handling and cornering ability now?

I see... so it sounds like its turned into just a drag car at this point that you can hobble around in on the street.

I prefure a more balanced sports car myself, thats whats so great about the S anyway, 350trq in the midrange doesnt make much sense to me on a car this light/small and agile if you want it to remain and exceded at being a formutable weapen on the track or street. I guess the point is to understand the differneces and the pro/cons of power dinamics and what it does to the car and what the personal goals of the individual are. for me the SC just makes more sense for my goals of sheer all out quickness that is well balanced with the cars best atributes but can still unleash on the top end down the strait all wile having as much longevety and reliabilty as possible, not with just the engine, but the car as a whole.

Power is addictive, I know as I have that kind of personality, but some of those that can afford to play the power game I think start losing sight of what else they are giving up with the car when running power to these extremes and then one day relize they have a S2000 that has morphed into a money pit hassle that they cant enjoy tracking or running on the street anymore.

..... I would never try to make a S2K a drag car... nor would I try to modify a boat to fly like a plane.

Airplanes fly well, boats float. Simplicity wins.

I guess if you just want to do something different then sure.

As for Hooking up 500hp and 400ft/lbs on a S.... It's really not a big issue, I've driven cars with a better power to weight ratio then that. You don't HAVE to floor the throttle all the time, takes a little skill from the driver is all. Now once your doing high speeds more power is needed and able to be handled more easily.

Let's not forget down force. If my car hits the 500whp mark I'd be crazy not to run w/ some forms of down force. That'll then help even more as speed increases.
