The final drive or axles are what tend to break, not the LSD. Of course once the gears blow it usually takes the LSD with it. Get a reinforce diff to help keep the gears in one piece and everything usually works out... Unless you twist an axle.

The gears tend to go MUCH MUCH more often than axles.

Is this a pretty common problem when you go FI or is it something that is pretty avoidable as long as you dont launch it? I wanna start doing time attack and stuff.

i run 550whp on a completely stock diff. I dont ever really give it full throttle in first and i NEVER launch. so far its held up but i really want to do the inline rear diff setup but dont have the money right now. I want to see what my car can do at the track so bad.

Haha yeah i know what you mean. i added it up the other day and ive already gone through like 8k. it goes pretty quick.
