Default How much power can you make with stock fuel lines?

i was just wondering how much HP does the stock fuel lines max out at on gas and on e85.

i;m currently making 501whp on e85 with id 1000cc injectors on stock fuell pressure and i have a walbro 255hp pump. The injectors are pretty much at 100% and are maxed out.
I want to make 600whp on e85. Will i need new fuel lines? I was planing to replace my fuel pump with a AEROMOTIVE 340 pump and geting a aem adjustable fuel pressure regulator to raise the pressure and keep the id 1000cc injectors. I know this will be good for 600whp on e85 but when will the stock fuel lines max out?

no one has really maxed them out. Someone was making your goal with stock fuel lines, id1000s, raised fuel pressure and the fb dual pump hangar.

The guys who go all out go ahead and replace the fuel lines.

Glad to see someone making 500hp with such a simple set-up. I'm aiming for 500hp on e85 and was concerned that I wouldn't have enough fuel.

My set-up:
900/1000 FIC injectors
oem FPR
Aeromotive 340 in-tank pump

Extra parts from old set-up on standby in case I run out of fuel:
Walbro 255 in-line pump
Fuel Lab FPR
Fuel Lab in-line filter

I don't think you will make 600whp with your setup by just dropping in that 340 pump. Maybe on Church's dyno, but not on other dynos. My dad's car is running 900cc siemens injectors with 100psi base pressure, larger fuel lines, intank walbro 255 with a bosch 044 and we maxed out duty cycle at 600whp on a dynojet.

You will run out of fuel before you even get to 600. You will need a fb dual pump hangar to get to 600. And I would go ahead and sale the 1000's and get ID2000 or FIC2150's also help if your on a return fuel system! Im at 500hp, E85, areomotive pump, returnless fuel system, FIC2150 injectors and stock fuel pressure. Im around 55-60% duty on them. Even if you jacked up the fuel pressure your pump still cant keep up. You will for sure need atleast an inline pump or the fb dual pump hangar! And you will MAX out your 1000's at around 1400cc on 100psi. Keep in mind that you should never go over about 85% duty cycle because the injectors can get stuck open if they get to hot and at 100psi they WILL get hot. Get the 2000cc injectors, fb dual pump hangar and go 600+ all day!!

A local member ballooned (and almost burst) his fuel lines on his AP1 running 100psi fuel pressure (E85).

Get id2000s, higher flowing fuel pump, and keep stock pressure.

thats what I'm going to try before installing fb dual pump hangar (but im not going to be e85 for a while).

Badabing.

Pm full-blown. If I remember right they hit 600 whp on a single 340 pump and id2000 injectors but not sure on base pressure. Def wasn't 100 lol.

Op Ur injectors will hold u back plain and simple. And the guy running 100 psi base pressure well that's just retarded. Get bigger injectors and drop that down.

Agreed. You can also lose the E85 for 500whp technically. For 600+ i would run ID2000, 2 walbros if you want, and aftermarket fuel lines. Not sure if you'd need to adjust the fuel pressure that much though
