Thumbs up How much $ for a used Comptech SC?

A guy I know is selling his Comptech SC kit with aftercooler and everything.

It's been used for 2 years and he's asking 4500$ Canadian (it's more expensive up here brand new...) How much should I offer him?

How much could I get one for on the used American market? 2500$?

It's either a supercharger or I sell my S2K and get an NSX...

Decisions decisions....

thanks!

So Jacques is going supercharged after all? You want to keep you Hp curve intact don't you. I'm glad, all though surprise about this post, tough you were more of N/A freak.

Anyhow I got Dan pm me about a Comptech SC.
If it's still for sale he was asking for $3,500 but everything (even the EXHAUST SYSTEM is included).

Shop around I'm sure you can find a better deal for the SC. I even had a guy selling a Vortek kit for $2,700.

Call me when you have a chance.

Edit: You owe me a ride remember?

Well I just want something different and I'm having difficulty accepting the fact that ITBs are 2000$ plus 1500$ for AEM EMS plus 500$ in tuning plus some other various stuff that is bound to pop up...

Unless I find some used ITBs and a used AEM EMS lol

From what I've seen, that's about the average ballpark figure for a used CTSC in good shape.

Question: You've mentioned that the CT has been used for about 2 years, but would you happen to know the actual milage that was put on it? This would be an important thing to know, considering that a 2 year old SC with low miles would have considerably less wear than a comparatively aged SC with high miles.

Well the guy doesn't want to go under 4200$ so screw it!

I'm sure I could find something used between 2500 and 3000$.
