Just from owning both the kits, this one looks way better...
"Looks" are a relative thing...besides, just because something "looks" better than another kit doesn't make it perform any better (or worse for that matter)...

I'm anxious to see your dyno graphs proving this. Also, since you had both kits, I'm assuming you also dynoed your car with both kits. It'd be interesting to see the results of both kits (on your car) side by side.

please people.. stop the bashing.. keep the peace..

everybody has their own priorities. and if looks are more important to this guy than performance so be it.. who said that performance has to be the #1 priority anyhow?

Everybody seems to be hung up on performance. but it seems as if alot of people state the most appealing thing about the inline pro kit is the price.. so is price #1, then peformance #2?

I just want to see more pics of this guys setup, because frankly, i like that front-mounted turbo look.

I've been searching for a good turbo kit, but I got a JDM right-hand drive, and this kit might be the solution. whether it performs better than the inline pro, i don't really care.. I contacted several of the "sponsors" on the board, but so far, nobody has been willing to say that their kit will work on my car.

so with that being said... post more pics! and let's see the dyno plots!

^ He was referring to the position of the turbo, not the FMIC.

If you are going for big power numbers all of the prices are about the same anyways. Realistically, what is the biggest difference between all of these kits? Just the manifold/downpipe design. Unless one costs several thousand dollars more than another, and you are bitching about spending 10,500 or 11,500, then whats the big deal?

I went by reliability and proven performance.

i agree with you on this.

for me, the manifold design is the most important.. because i have the steering gear on the right side, just below the exhaust manifold.. so i need a manifold that fit around all that stuff. that is the reason why, i am real keen on this front-mounted turbo.. it might be just what i've been looking for.

reliability is very important, right.. everybody want to drive their car, than just look at it sitting in the driveway. but, of course, performance is also important because we all want to be that rich guy with the Z4 sitting in the lane next to us.

Peek numbers are only a small part of the whole picture.
ask the right question and get the right answer.
